Fenady Uriarte
Fenady Uriarte is STR’s Business Development Manager for Southeast Asia. Based in STR’s regional office in Singapore, she has over 12 years of experience in hospitality and real estate with global brands including as Mandarin Oriental Group, Las Vegas Sands Corporation, Raffles Hotel Singapore and Century Properties Group Inc. Fenady graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Organizational Communication from De La Salle University and has a Certifications in Revenue Management from Cornell University and Hotel Industry Analytics from the American Hotel and Lodging Association. Fenady frequently presents the latest trends and updates at industry events in Southeast Asia.
Nikhom Jensiriratanakorn
Nikhom’s career spans a number of years working for several international hospitality organizations in Singapore. After working for PricewaterhouseCoopers Thailand, Nikhom moved overseas to pursue new challenges and gain international exposure. At part of the analyst team at Pan Pacific Hotels Group, he was responsible for assessing new business opportunities as part of the group’s international expansion as well as monitoring performance of operating properties to ensure successful execution. Then, Nikhom joined the Asset Management Department of Host Hotels and Resorts, a Fortune 500 corporation and the largest hospitality REIT in the US, to oversee a hotel portfolio that covers investments in 3 to 5 star segments in Australia, New Zealand and India. During his time there, a few major enhancement projects were put forward to drive asset performance. Prior to joining Horwath HTL, Nikhom set up and led the development planning function in Asia for Jumeirah Group, the Dubai-based hospitality organization that operates multiple top-notch luxury hotels worldwide such as the Burj Al Arab. In this role, he was instrumental in assessing the feasibility of hotel opportunities from financial and strategic perspectives. Nikhom completed an English-based undergraduate study in accounting from Faculty of Commerce and Accountancy, Thammasat University, with a first class honor. He further established his international academic reputation by graduating on the Dean’s List with a Masters degree from the School of Hotel Administration, Cornell University, in the US.
Bill Barnett
Bill is a globally recognized hospitality, tourism and real estate advisor. He is the Founder and Managing Director of Asia-based C9 Hotelworks. In addition to being a leading consultant, he is a frequent speaker at industry events and conferences. With over 30 years of experience in the Asia Pacific region, Bill has an extensive background in hotel operations, development and asset management. His past employment highlights include Senior Corporate roles at international hotel chains and publicly listed companies. Bill is considered to be one of the foremost industry experts in the hotel residences sector. As an entrepreneur, Bill has co-developed two successful residential projects in Thailand and is actively involved in the online property marketplace as Chief Strategy Officer for FazWaz.com. He is also currently acting as Business Development Advisor for Le Pirate International, which is a fast growing regional beach club chain. To date Bill is the author of four books on travel, property and hospitality, under the titles of Slave to the Bean, Collective Swag, It Might Get Weird and Last Call. His participation in professional bodies includes being a member of the International Society of Hospitality Consultants (ISHC) and the Founding Advisor of the Phuket Hotels Association.
