Amanda Hite

Amanda W. Hite, STR’s president since 2011, leads the company’s business activities and overall direction. She is also a member of the senior leadership team for CoStar Group (NASDAQ: CSGP), parent company of STR since 2019.

Under Hite’s guidance, STR has experienced substantial growth in its global presence, client base, data coverage and revenue. She has led the company to several significant milestones, most notably the historic launch of STR Benchmarking, the company’s transformative software solution released to the hotel industry in 2023.

Hite’s career accomplishments have been recognized with inclusion in lists such as “30 Influential Women in Hospitality" and "30 Most Powerful Leaders in Travel." She is a member of the Board of Directors of the American Hotel & Lodging Association and the U.S. Travel Association. She also serves as a member of the Board of Directors of the Nashville Branch of the Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta and on the Industry Advisory Board of the Hotel and Restaurant Management Program at Auburn University.

Prior to joining STR in 2006, Hite was the Director of Research for the Nashville Area Chamber of Commerce.

She is a graduate of Birmingham-Southern College with a B.S. in Business Administration.

Hite and her husband reside in Hendersonville, TN, and have two children.
