Benefits
Our updated process employs a new algorithm to differentiate performance of non-participants based on their market location, class, age, and size. Age and size, importantly, serve as proxies for quality. Additionally, separate processes were built to estimate the performance of Las Vegas casinos and Walt Disney World hotels, meaning higher quality data for those areas.
The ability to report on the performance of the Las Vegas strip and include America’s largest hotel market as part of U.S. Top 25 Market reporting marks a significant addition to STR’s world-leading data.
