Munich: Oktoberfest 2017 vs. Oktoberfest 2016
Munich’s occupancy came in 1.1% lower during Oktoberfest 2017 compared with Oktoberfest 2016, while ADR declined 0.7% to €224.83.
This year to date as of August, Munich’s occupancy is flat at 75.3%, and ADR declined 6.7% to €114.37, which resulted in a RevPAR of €86.07. The market has experienced a 3.2% increase in hotel room supply compared with the end of 2016. Despite this increase in supply, demand is in line with the year-to-date supply growth.
